Today was the day, the day of your wedding.
You had been planning this for months. Well Alfred did most of the planning.
You were getting married to the love of your life, Ludwig whom you enjoyed calling "Luddy". When you told your best friend Alfred that you two were engaged he insisted that you guys had an American style wedding. Ludwig was fine with it and you thought it you be fun. Of course you had to make sure Alfred didn't get too excited while planning. He originally wanted you two to get married at bar.
There is no fucking way you would get married at a bar.
"Dude, it would have been totally awesome if you guys did! I mean we would have an epic party!"
"This isn't a party Alfred! This is my wedding! Plus I'm not so sure Luddy would like it if someone were to pass out while doing karaoke."
So, you and your fiancée were getting married at a garden instead.
It was going to be amazing. You had your dress picked out and everything was ready to go.
You were sitting in the car while Ludwig was driving you to the garden. You took a glance out the window beside you it was cloudy gray.
"Oh no!" You said out loud. "Luddy, it's starting to rain!"
"Ja, I can see that ________. Let's just get to the garden and we'll see what we can do. Okay?"
You nodded and slumped in your seat pouting to yourself.
When you finally got to the garden you quickly rushed under the gazebo. It was pouring.
"Oh Ludwig, what are we going to do?! Today is supposed to be perfect!"
Ludwig grabbed your hands firmly and his icy blue eyes looked deep into your (eye color) ones.
"Today will be perfect, I promise."
You nodded once more and looked out into the rain.
The guests would arrive any minute with the supplies. Since it was a smaller wedding the guests would bring items for the wedding. Chairs, the cake, etc. Soon you saw a familiar car pull up towards the garden entrance. It was Alfred and his brother Matthew. He quickly got out of the car and dashed towards the gazebo while Matthew and his bear got out some items they brought.
"Hey guys! Man its raining cats and dogs today!"
"Yeah, we know…"
Soon after Matthew came over with an iPod, a stereo to hook it up to, and two gifts.
"Umm were can I put this…?" Matthew said quietly, you didn't hear him because you were chatting with Alfred but Ludwig did.
"On the small table over there."
Soon you saw more cars pull up towards the garden entrance.
"Oh goodie! It seems we have everyone we invited here! Yao, Alfred, Arthur, Francis, Elizaveta, Gilbert, Lovino, Feliciano, and Kiku! Wait… Luddy who am I missing?"
"Excuse me, ______?"
You jumped up a little from shock and turned around.
"Man Matthew you scared me! Sorry I forgot you but you shouldn't sneak up behind people like that!"
"______ I don't think there is enough room in this gazebo…"
Ludwig was right! It was cramped in there! Plus everything was starting to fall off the edge of the tiny table in the gazebo.
"Hey Ludwig, _____ ! I just checked on my phone and there is bar nearby!"
You cringed; you didn't want to get married there! But… It is kind of the only place you can go. You, Ludwig, and all the guests packed up the supplies and headed for the bar.
Once you walked inside the bar you saw a man wearing a familiar scarf.
"Mein gott…"
You said under your breath. It can't be him. The tall man with the scarf behind the bar turned around.
FUCK, it was that creepy Russian Ivan! He is so going to flip sense you didn't invite him to your wedding.
"Da~! Hello everyone, care for some vodka?" He offered cheerfully. Everyone knew better and declined his offer as they set up for the wedding inside the bar.
"Oh no!" You gasped. The minister! He must be at the garden, and he would never come here!" You started to panic when Ludwig asked everyone if they had any experience with weddings when Ivan spoke up.
"Da! I have done a few American weddings before~!" Without anyone saying anything against him he walked to the front of the room.
Everyone was ready except for you and Ludwig. You and Ludwig were still wearing T-shirts and jeans!
You quickly ran to the trunk of Ludwig's car and got out your wedding dress while he grabbed his tuxedo. You placed a kiss on his cheek before you rushed into the Girl's bathroom. You quickly slipped on your wedding dress that was long and silky, which surprisingly didn't have a train and rested at your heels. You put your hair up in a messy up-do and put on sliver heels.
Elizaveta came in telling you that everything was set and ready to go.
Well she said it more like this; "Come on _____! Everyone is waiting for you to get your butt out there!"
When you stepped out of the bathroom Alfred turned on the music.
Instead of "Here comes the bride" it started playing square dancing music!
Your face turned a bright shade of pink as you walked down the isle and Alfred fumbled with the IPod trying to get it to play "Here comes the bride". He was able to change it two steps before you reached the makeshift alter.
Ludwig stood awestruck staring at you. His cheeks soon got a slight tint of pink as he grabbed your hands and held them close and Ivan conducted the wedding ceremony.
You and Ludwig exchanged rings and said your vows. You never really saw a point in the vows; you already knew Ludwig was going to stick by your side no matter what. He already knew you loved him with all your heart, and more if that was even possible. You stared deep into his icy blue eyes. They would have scared off anyone else. But they were always so comforting to you; they always said that everything was going to be all right.
You were broken out of your trance as Ivan said, "You may now kiss the bride"
Ludwig bent down and kissed you, you rapped your arms around his neck. You could hear Alfred cheering and everybody clapping. You slowly broke the kiss to breathe and you whispered in Ludwig's ear
"Best wedding ever Luddy, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way."
"I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Beilschmidt."
Ivan said to Ludwig and you.
You and Ludwig danced while everyone drank as much vodka as they could, attempted karaoke and Romano passed out from too much to drink.
This was the best wedding ever, with a few slip-ups.
And your honeymoon awaited you and Ludwig the very next day.
Laughed so hard when Ivan was the priest. xD
